I go back to MvC3 after a long down time with the game, as such I'm pretty rusty. Honestly though I feel that I'm stuck at my current skill level, I can't figure out OTGs, I can't work tag team hypers into my combos, I can't find a good way to implement the full team hypers, I don't make use of snap backs or partner assists, I just feel like I'm stuck where I'm at. Then I run into guys like the first two opponents of this video, I get absolutely massacred by their ridiculously long combos and extensive knowledge of the game. I wish I could play like that, time attacks like that, but I just can't process this stuff that quickly. I feel like that sort of play requires twitch reflexes. On the other hand, I wish fighting games were less focused on combos that take out half of your life bar due to a single mistake that you made. Am I alone in feeling this way or do I just suck royally at fighting games? Some food for thought I guess.
