No commentary showcase of Q2TEST. it was not possible to get it running in 3D accelerated modes, in Win10 they wouldn't work, and on an virtual machine it would slowdown after a few seconds of gameplay for no reason, so Software mode at 1600x1200 it is. Video has been upscaled to 2880x2160 for better bitrate.

Q2TEST is the "demo" we got for Quake 2 a couple months ahead of its release. What's interesting about it is that it more like a beta than a demo, and there were a bunch of differences from the retail release, such as:
- Explosions are sprites rather than polygonal models
- Animated face from the character in the hud, like Doom
- Slightly different skins for enemies
- Different sound effects

Muestra sin comentar de Q2TEST. No me ha sido posible ejecutarla con aceleración 3D, en Win10 no funcionaba, y en una máquina virtual se ralentizaba después de unos segundos funcionando sin razón aparente, así que modo software en 1600x1200. El video ha sido reescalado a 2880x2160 para mejor bitrate.

Q2TEST es la "demo" de Quake 2 que recibimos un par de meses antes de su lanzamiento. Es interesante porque era más una beta que una demo, y hay un puñado de diferencias con la versión final, tales como:
- Las explosiones son sprites en vez de modelos 3D
- Cara animada del personaje en la IU
- Skins ligeramente diferentes de los enemigos
- Diferentes efectos de sonido
