Quake 3 Arena (1999)

Quake 3 Arena was the 3rd Iteration of the Quake series. But did not follow the Quake 2 Storyline.

Quake 3 Arena Competed Heavily with Unreal Tournament (1999) however in my opinion Quake 3 is a more Pure Distillation of what is now commonly known as (FPS).
Q3 had no official story campaign as it was the first ARENA based FPS. The game was a HIT and spawned other offshoots & mods one in particular is the QUAKE III : Team Arena & Quake LIVE.
