Elite Dangerous takes an unexpected turn down the road of arena based PVP combat. Lets give it the Wizarding treatment (in space) and see how it stands up. As it turns out I'm not as terrible at this as I usually am at games, so some half reasonable gameplay and impressions are included.

Is it any good? Well I play through 3 battles and give my thoughts on CQC, 1.4, Elite Dangerous in general and erm, maybe a little something on the dark side vs William Riker.

Elite Dangerous is available through steam, but you shouldn't buy it if you don't already own it because there is a full priced "expansion" due out the end of the year which will include the base game.
