I had put up a video of this already over two years but it was in 480p horribleness. This was recorded natively in HD and in the highest difficulty settings no less.

If you're a fan of the series, Quake 4 is exactly what you expect. It is a gory, highly visceral and adrenaline pumped shooter and hot damn do I freaking love it for being so. They'll always be detractors to how straight-forward it plays, but for it's genre, Quake 4 is as glossy and fun to play as you would hope.

Many critics cited the game as it supposedly has horrendous frame-rate problems, and they're not wrong - it can be all over the place. However rarely does Quake 4's FPS count drop to unplayable levels, as you should be able to tell from this video.
