I remember a school friend of mine had this, I don't remember all the flickering so I guess that's the emulation screwing up. But it was interesting to see what they changed, the levels are a bit simpler, the textures are so blurry, and the music isn't bad, but not the same atmosphere.
I'm not playing on my original N64, (I don't want to say how in case Nintendo aren't happy about it, I've heard they're a bit claim happy) it made the controls a bit janky, but it was still playable.
