Quake All of Rogue Easy Run Record as for 14.12.2024

Catch me live on: https://www.twitch.tv/clouder322

This marks my final run in this game. It’s been a surprisingly quick grind. When I first watched the previous world record, I thought it would take me a significant amount of time to learn the route, let alone become skilled enough to claim the record in such a short period. Yet, despite my initial doubts, we managed to achieve it. Thankfully, the grind was made easier by the unpredictable nature of the final level, which is notorious for its random quake effect—an event that can instantly ruin a run. Strangely enough, it never occurred a single time during my record attempts, and for that, I am genuinely grateful for the luck the game granted me this time around.

Reflecting on the run, there are a few key moments worth discussing. To start, Episode 1 was particularly impressive, finishing just a couple of seconds behind my episode record from a few days ago. However, things began to unravel a bit afterward. It’s clear if you look at my R2M1 and R2M2: those levels were far from my best and honestly quite embarrassing. That said, the time saved during Episode 1 helped cushion those mistakes, making them less punishing than they might have been. Fortunately, the rest of Episode 2 went exceptionally well, as I managed to secure a series of gold splits throughout the later parts of that segment.

Most notably, the gods of luck were truly on my side for the final level. I encountered no earthquakes, which allowed me to complete it cleanly and secure further time saves—an outcome I’m immensely thankful for.

Finally, I want to address what this run signifies: it is my last speedrun in this game. The time has come for me to move on to something entirely different, so you shouldn’t expect any more Quake runs from me in the future.

That’s all from me for now—apologies for the long rant! I hope you enjoy this final run of mine. GGs!
