Quake II is Fun, Flawless, and Forgettable
47Season 2 begins here and now and near and how! This season we'll be doing some more of the same and some more of the different. Hopefully with less waiting between episodes. And with hopefully much fewer audio issues going forward than what ended up here in this video, assuming the new mic I ordered today isn't complete garbage.
Quake 2 is another beloved FPS released in 1997 by id Software and then remastered by Nightdive Studios in 2023 with a brand new campaign added to the package by Machine Games. The remaster compiles every official campaign released for the PC version of Quake 2 alongside a PC remake of the N64 version of Quake 2 and a slew of bonus content to check out. In this video I take a quick look at every piece of single-player content, rank it all on a tier list, and completely ignore the multiplayer as if it doesn't even exist! It's a total clown show and nobody should listen to me. And don't forget to subscribe!
