No music (beside end level theme, if i am wrong about it, tell me)- that's okay, i know that conversion had to sacrifice something; I can't return to earlier levels after beating them- sounds like oldschool shooters i.e. first Quake. The same goes with courses- much smaller than in original.
The thing that caught me off-guard is that obtained powerups are activated right now, which (depends on situation) is good or bad thing. Another is that crouching has been disabled for this version, which also suprised me.
