Quake II Rerelease: Unused/test maps
2Quake 2 has been re-released with new maps, huge visual improvements!
In this release, you can see various concept arts and assets from the development process in the id Vault menu, and even play demo maps that were showcased at the E3 game show and ECTS back in 1997.
However, there are also a few maps that are not provided in the game menu. The maps in the "maps/old" folder are seems from the early stages of development.
The maps in the "maps/test" folder might have been created for testing purposes during the porting into the KEX engine.
