Quake: Koohoo Temple Thing Returns
0So I have showed this off once in another showcase thing, at that time I had the start of the water section made and nothing else done, but now I think I have a full working layout. At the moment I don't have an official name for the map yet, but I am sure something will sound good enough for me to want to use it.
But yeah, this technically started a long, long while ago, the first few rooms were going to be part of a map for SM224 ( Prototype Jam 4 ). That original map idea got scrapped and the rooms were shelved. At some point I decided to go back and texture it with Koohoo and build a few more rooms.
The original preview from the Copper WIP showcase ended at the start of the underwater section, which at the time only consisted of the opening pool and a bit of the area under it.
At that point I decided to just kinda keep chipping away at the map, taking large breaks from it to work on other stuff, and now we are here. Dunno when it'll be done, still need to tweak a few things and go back through to detail further
The music used for this preview is "Drosera" from Starbound. I am not using this track for the map as I do have something else picked for it at the moment.
