This is more than just a full playthrough of the original Quake recorded into an ".mp4" video file: This is also a full playthrough of the original Quake recorded into a ".dem" demo file.

I used QuakeSpasm 0.96.3 to record the demos of the full playthrough and the short demonstration demo at the beginning of this video. The combined size of these demos is only 21.2 MiB after Zip compression, which is amazing for 2 hours and 40 minutes worth of "footage".

I missed the secret level in "e4m5", so I made I seperate video where I enter and play through the secret level, which you can watch here:    • Quake - The Missing Level: E4M8
