His fireballs are 2x faster, they do 2x damage if they directly hit you (you won't survive two blows even with a Red Armor), his fireball throws are faster, and he takes more shocks. Those shock damage are dependent on how many players are in a server, with one player would take up to 5 (up from Nightmare's 3 zaps). So good luck if Decino comes to play with a his legion of 100 players.
Oh yeah, Chthon doesn't react to getting shocked. Though the last shock needs to have a pain animation or else the level will softlock and you'll be stuck in the level forever with Chthon still throwing lavaballs at you even though his health is 0.
