This is more of a render test, using Nvidias new Ray-Tracing "Mod" for Q2 called "Quake2 RTX".

It was very difficult to record using my GTX 1070, because I usually get 12 to 15 fps at a normal playback speed. I had to record the gameplay in super-slow-motion using 15% of the real speed. Then I had to speed up the resulting video more then 6 times and then sync the resulting footage, with the audio I recorded using the normal Quake2 install. Because Sony Vegas ca only speed up 4 times, I had to re-render the video two times. As a result, the video-quality suffers a bit.
I was not easy and was really time consuming :)
I wont be doing another one really soon, without using a hardware enabled Ray-Tracing videocard.

This is a FFA (Free For All) demo I found of Thresh, from 1998. The map that they played on was q2dm1 aka "The Edge" and the demo date is 28.09.1998.
The frag limit is set to 40.
