"The Number One Killer Is Time" is the first of five acts in Quantum Break. Act 1 contains three parts and one junction.

You are Jack Joyce, one of two people that is involved at the accident that took place at Riverport University. The university was performing an experiment in time travel that has caused time to start breaking down. As a result of the accident, Jack Joyce and Paul Serene have gained different time manipulation abilities.

Paul travels deep into the future and experiences the end of time brought on by his own time machine then travels back to the past and establishes an organization who's sole purpose is to stop the end of time above all else. Jack uses his new abilities to attempt to stop Paul's new maniacal plans and keep time from tearing itself apart.
