Questing with Zombies // E17 - Hardcore PVE Tarkov
There are three ways to play Escape from Tarkov (BattleState Games): the original, online PVP mode, the community modded version called Single Player Tarkov (SPT), and the in-between, single-player version crafted by BattleState called Tarkov PVE. We will be playing PVE ... but with a twist.
In my experience, PVE is easier than the SPT single-player mode but to add some juice, some stakes, and drama, we're going playing in a "hardcore" version of the game. Hardcore means we cannot buy any equipment from vendors or the Flea Market. We must find (almost) everything we need. There are a couple of exceptions:
Specialized equipment (jammers, cameras, etc.)
Containers (of any kind)
Weapon attachments - but ONLY for Gunsmith tasks
Finally, one PMC run earns one SCAV run. We cannot just run SCAVs back to back, for gear. We have to earn the right to SCAV into a raid.
SCAV runs end once we unlock the Flea (which we cannot use)
There are no limits to the secure container, or keys, etc. because we're not @DeadlySlob or @Pestily. They are the masters of Tarkov and if you want to see an even harder version of Tarkov, I suggest checking out their channels.
If you stick around here, we will be starting in Raid 01 with no gear, hoping for luck to find a weapon before we're spotted by SCAVs or PMCs. Should be interesting.
