We're going on an adventure! Today we unbox Quests of Yore from @TheOpGames, the tabletop RPG game based on the movie Onward from Pixar! Quests of Yore isn't a board game, it's a full blown role player game, and a great start for families who are interested in trying a RPG. Quests of Yore has everything you need to get started - Player sheets, miniatures, detailed training for the quest master, and the Tome of Quests which contains 12 different scenarios and a training scenarios.


As of posting this video, we have played 3 of the scenarios from Quests of Yore. This is the first time we have ever played a legitimate RPG, and it is my (kidsplaining dad) first time ever being a quest master or running a scenario. It was intimidating, but the more we play, the more comfortable everyone gets in their roles, and we are having SO MUCH FUN. Quests of Yore is an exercise in imagination for kids and adults alike.


The amount of work that went into Quests of Yore to make it truly feel like it was lifted out of the movie Onward is incredible. From Barley's cheeto fingerprints to the "handwritten" notes throughout the player guide, to the little drawings "taped" to the pages, everything about this game feels great, and it will create amazing opportunities for your family to have tons of fun!
