A fast and elegant 2x3 piston door designed for survival. The redstone is a good compromise between speed and compactness, the opening and closing animations are synchronized and piston setup gets the door usable is around 2~3 seconds.

I also tested it for directionality and locality bugs in 1.14.4 and in the snapshots (19w42a) so it should be safe to build in survival.
