Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak is a real-time strategy game. I loved the original Homeworlds and Cataclysm and this game follows the same formula which I liked. Some strange design choices, like not being able to queue up research, no auto-harvest on resource collectors, and paid DLC to have access to two new factions in multiplayer but other than this the story and campaign were really enjoyable.

Got this game on sale which probably made the above gripes tolerable. Rating: 4/5
