Quick Review of King Arthur: Knight's Tale

This turn-based RPG submerges you in a world of Arthurian lore with an undead twist. There are Knights to recruit, level up, and gear out. It's not easy to keep everyone happy (via loyality) due to alignments, but it's all part of the decision making fun. There's also Camelot where you can treat injuries, buy gear, train Knights, etc. The game does a great job balancing combat encounters and kingdom management.
Combat:
The combat occurs on a grid with the traditional Action Points (AP), but what I thought was a fantastic implementation was that there were NO INITIATIVE ROLLS. You use up all your party's AP then the enemy uses all their AP. Rinse and repeat.
Character Progression:
There's a skill tree you allocate points to and what I really loved was that it was pretty simple. (NOTE: I apologize for rambling on about the "simple" character progression in the video, but I guess it was a big deal to me 😅). You can also browse the Merchant's goods to outfit your Heroes and their stock refreshes every few missions.
Replayability:
There are four different quadrants to pick your alignment from so at least 4 playthroughs, but that's not including any alignnment you want to repeat to play with different Heroes! In my opinion, the game isn't dauntingly lengthy to prohibit multiple playthroughs.
TLDR;
I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game and I’d say it's definitely worth your time ❤️
