[ Hard | Tyrant | Old Faith ]

Hey Everyone, Altered Calyx here and we're back partying in King Arthur: Knight's Tale. Today, we've upped the difficulty to Very Hard and also it's the finale! We're finishing up this super fun game tonight so let's get started!

Here are the missions we took on tonight:
2:50 The Warlord (25): Mordred, Tristan, Merlin, Morgana. TLDR; Switching it up to Very Hard wasn't too bad at all.

2:04:21 Lord of Plenty (25): Mordred, Tristan, Merlin, Morgana. This mission... this mission... I had to reload this mission AFTER finishing it because I didn't want to go into the final mission without Morgana.

4:11:36 Second attempt, I switched out Morgana for Boudicea, but it just didn't feel right... so we reloaded after the first encounter...

4:46:45 Third attempt, we bought a couple new pieces of gear from the Soul Merchant: Rune of the Soulstaff for Morgana and Sigil of Woe for Mordred. Also, some blue item for Merlin to eek out a little bit more burning damage.

5:19:12 Mordred and Morgana were stuck in the bone cage area because I never freed them during the encounter! I was so demoralized and thought I would have to reload the encounter. But then Nagadu (also a King Arthur: Knight's Tale streamer) who was in chat suggested I move on to the next encounter because it should force the entire party to zone in. IT WORKED! He totally saved the day with that pro tip!

6:30:48 The Dark God (25): Mordred, Tristan, Merlin, Morgana. They said it couldn't be done, but we did it!! We defeated Balor! We finished this game with our favorite party comp and on Very Hard. Honestly, in my opinion Bosses should not be susceptible to crowd control. I said it 😐. But until they change it, I'll still use it 😁.

Notes on play through:
* Game Difficulty: Hard. Switched to Very Hard for the last 3 missions in the End Game. I should've upped it a long time ago. oops!
* Alignment: Tyrant/Old Faith
* Game Mode: Semi hardcore where if the Hero dies, they are permadead. I try not to reload the game to revive dead Heroes unless I'm unable to or it seems highly unlikely that I can finish the mission (i.e. Hero dies early in the mission). I'd say it's roguelite with options.
* First Play Through: Learning as I go. No outside research on class builds or story. We're experiencing the game fresh. There's no min/maxing because I figured I'd save that for subsequent play throughs. My Heroes will be imperfectly spec'd/geared and I'm ok with that 😊
