[Day 31 | End Game] I'm liking the harder content, but it's feeling kinda... quiet?

[ Hard | Tyrant | Old Faith ]

Hey Everyone, Altered Calyx here and we're back partying in King Arthur: Knight's Tale.

The harder content is refreshingly more challenging so I'm liking that aspect, but it's so quiet. Meaning there's less voice overs, interactions, and story line in general. There are missions to get to the end boss, but it doesn't impact who Mordred is or any of the other knights. I miss that.

Stream started off pretty laggy, not sure what was going on there, but the audio seemed to be fine? It cleared up as the fight went on at least.

Any who, here are the missions we took on tonight:

9:17 The Formorian King (22): Mordred, Tristan, Merlin, Morgana. We battled King Bres. It was just him and 2 spires. He didn't do much honestly except just stand around like a lump. Easy boss fight 😊

54:28 Dark Forefathers (22): Mordred, Tristan, Merlin, Morgana. So, this mission didn't go so well the first time around. Morgana bit it (surprise, surprise 😐) and since I had to reload we decided to bring a different party comp. One I'm not entirely comfortable playing so that was a tiny bit stressful. Round 2 we brought Mordred, Brunor, Guinevere, Merlin.

Also, TIL that Guinevere is good for picking up fragments. She picks up a fragment and then has zero AP. Someone kills something and she gets more AP to do it all over again.

Notes on play through:
* Game Difficulty: Hard
* Alignment: Tyrant/Old Faith
* Game Mode: Semi hardcore where if the Hero dies, they are permadead. I try not to reload the game to revive dead Heroes unless I'm unable to or it seems highly unlikely that I can finish the mission (i.e. Hero dies early in the mission). I'd say it's roguelite with options.
* First Play Through: Learning as I go. No outside research on class builds or story. We're experiencing the game fresh. There's no min/maxing because I figured I'd save that for subsequent play throughs. My Heroes will be imperfectly spec'd/geared and I'm ok with that 😊
