On the early batch, the scroll wheel was loose on a lot of copies. Logitech said they corrected this so that all of the current and new batches should be fine, and after trying 2 new wired copies and reading a lot of community feedback, I can confirm that they're fixed and shouldn't have the problem.

That said, if by chance you do get one with the problem, please contact Logitech support for a replacement. They are aware of the issue.
