My Quake Anniversary - 18 years since Quake 2 CTF
642I don't have any videos from the first time I played, but this one is from 2001 in the game that started it all for me. Sure, I played Quake and Quake 2 before then, but it was just randomly. I didn't focus on Quake until October 1998, so I figure that's my official start... kind of mentioned that in the video, this was when I started playing random people online.
Loved the strategy of Quake 2 CTF, and the grapple was amazing fun. They took a lot out of Quake 3 and Quake Live CTF... really reduced the strategy (no tech power ups, no power shield, no grapple). Hopefully they make Quake Champions even better!
