I've been playing a bit of X68000 recently so I thought I'd check out one of my old favorite shmups on the system, R-Type. I remember seeing this game in a mag back in 1987 and being blown away with the arcade perfect screenshots! I was playing the C64 version at the time. The X68000 was only released in Japan with a hefty $3000 pricetag so it was just a dream to own one. This port plays great! I even got to the same point as I always do in the arcade, so it's spot on.
This is running on the XM6 Pro-68K emulator.
