Works well, had to turn up the sharpness cvar and the resolution to about 3k as otherwise quite soft without that. The camera offset has a maximum value of 4000 and think I need a lot more to get to a better closer position.

The game has a fully modelled cockpit interior in the game so would be interesting to see what could be used to mod this further.

The ship customisation screen similarly far away but all the menus UI and gameplay was fine. As you can see from the video I really suck at this game and the last R Type game I played was on the Game Boy color!
