Video with a late game save provided by flat2VR community member Dortamur to test performance. Went through quite a few settings and recorded my performance overlay in the bottom right corner.
Generally seems like the sweetspot is mostly high and let ASW kick in and keep level. Had a few freezes where everything would stop but not crash entirely but then kick back in. Was surprised how smooth it was with all the factory, trains and AI wandering around.
Looked much better now I know to turn off the volumetric louds in the in game menu. Some shadows, reflections on some buildings and water just in one eye but pretty minor.
Did try 3DOF motion in another play session very quickly. Work nicely but the control bindings are so complicated to get a decent recording just went back to KBM.
@xMcCARYx I see the trees which follow your head movement 🙂 see it a lot in other titles though when the LOD kicks in and you get that 2D plane instead. Most noticable I found in Shadow Warrior 3 and Rouge Spirit. View distance is something people will probably still want reduced a bit to keep performance, but the vistas in this game are pretty epic.
