I woke up on the day that I'm uploading this and decided to edit the footage to cut out the copyrighted music from the credits. Sorry about the video quality; my recording tools in 2017 weren't great for PS2 games, but all the same, I hope you enjoy the video if you haven't seen it before. I'm leaving the original upload, but it was blocked in certain countries because of copyright.

You can view it here:

Stage 1.0 - 0:54
Stage 2.2 - 7:31
Stage 3.0 - 10:47
Stage 4.0 - 20:08
Stage 5.0 - 26:27
Stage 6.0 - 32:43
Stage F-A - 42:05
Final score - 52:54

I used the Last Dancer in stage 2.0 because I didn't want the fight against Negus Oshim to drag on. I used it in 4.0 because I'm not a superhuman and the Dobkeratops' heart projectiles are too fast for me to dodge. I used it in 5.0 against Fine Motion because I accidentally broke the pegs too many times and I needed to get to stage F-A.

In summer 2017 I was off from work the day I recorded this and I tried once in the morning and once in the afternoon. I got to the Bydo Core each time and one of its projectiles hit me. The final recording was from the evening, and that's the one you see here.

I love R-Type Final. I'm glad it got sequels with RTF2 and RTF3, but this one is still my favorite.

I upload as a hobby and when I find another game worthy of recording, I'll put something else up. I have no schedule, so it'll always be a surprise when it happens.
