After getting a 1CC offline, during stream we achieved the No Miss with Misty Lady II, something that if they told me it was possible some years ago I'd have instantly said "No Way" not gonna lie.
But without losing time, as always here's some comments on the strategies used on the stages:
For Stage 1.0 the objective was simple: get as much Dose as possible. I used the earliest enemies to gain a small amount and then threw the force to Gironika for the entirety of his fight for a total of 25% which is kinda ok. Remember that Gironika has a Dose range between 22% and 30% depending on your force...unless you go for Sexy Force.
Stage 2.4 also was used for Dose gain. It's not the best for Misty Lady since the damage has to be dealt as soon as some schemes start if you're going for the Dose. Negus fisht is also good for Dose: If you detach force to right side and in there you get an 8 scheme, if you do not destroy any part of the 8 the bullets will shoot and force can obtain a huge amount of Dose. In fact I started Negus fight with 47% Dose and ended with 60%
Stage 3.0 is fantastic for Dose, so much that even at R-Typer you can get something like 50% or more if you do everything correctly and the things to do are:
- Launching Force to the first little thrusters;
- Clip your force to the objects that are behind 1st phase of Land Gains. Attention when you destroy one of them or you might commit suicide. I suggest speed 1 or 2 for that;
- Stay close to Land Gains on 2nd phase;
- If you don't have Full Dose at this point get some percentage by blocking the Gunner's bullets, the one that appears right after Land Gains.
If you obtain Full Dose before the boss you'll have an easy fight against Wave Core since the Force's Hitbox will be so big that you can block every single bullet with ease. For this fight Loop 3 and Loop 2 will give you the win.
Stage 4.0 is that stage that is incredibly easy with the exception of the boss fight. Bellmite can put a lot of pressure due to how it works and also the luck factor that he doesn't throw one of his pieces directly to you (ngl, I was a little bit nervous during the fight). Misty Lady's Blue Laser is the best laser for the fight since it doesn't stop shooting periodically, like Red and Yellow do, and deals a good amount of damage.
Stage 5.0 is a stage that requires patience and a good knowledge on how to deal with every scheme that is in there. Misty Lady can do some schemes easier than 90% of game's ships, especially the beginning, and Full Dose is super important for maximizing damage on the McCarrons. Blue Laser is a must with the exception of the beginning of the scheme right before Fine Motion. Speaking of Fine Motion, I picked Blue Laser instead of Red cause Red Laser would have destroyed the blue prong below the ship therefore activating stage 6.1 with an automatic run loss.
Stage 6.0 was performed with no mistakes, everything perfectly except a little bit of panic during cancers. Also a fast kill on Gomander. I don't have anything to say about this stage. I only wanna say something about the Outslayer right after the cancers: Know that the spot I used for that part I think it's the spot the developers intended. Notice how the crystals are all perfectly aligned ready to be picked.
Stage F-A was also performed with almost no mistakes. Remember that if you have Full Dose on the Spiral scheme you can defeat the enemies behind you with your Force. I missed the Wave Cannon's timing on the 1st wheel. You can insta kill the wheel if the timing is correct (wait until POW shows up, then shoot). If it doesn't happen be prepared for when the 2nd wheel appears and use Dose Attack for defeating both the wheels. You're at the end, you don't need Full Dose Anymore.
And Here we are...Bydo Core. This time I didn't die. for 1st phase do the fast Wave Cannon strategy as I did: Detach Force, charge until wave cannon reaches something like 4 1/2 or 5 blocks in the charge meter, shoot. This technique is important when you have ships like Concertmaster or in this case Misty Lady since you cannot start charging until every single piece of your Wave Cannon goes off screen.
2nd phase go 1 speed and don't die. Easier said than done I know but that's how we deal with that phase
