Hey, there's a R-Type Discord Server! Check here! https://discord.gg/CqGeGF7

This run was made during this stream: https://youtu.be/fokr6xkxBmY?t=106
If you go to the stream I suggest to look at the live chat since I was interacting with the viewers during the run.
Also, please forgive my not so fantastic English, I'll try to improve little by little.

Now on commenting the run. I wanna start by saying 100 Hours...100 Hours of attempts to obtain this No Miss run, started a year ago and only today achieved it.

Stage 1.0 is always the same: stay in front of gains do not move while he charges and shoots with his weapon, Gironika is fairly easy but it's important to pay attention to its bullets for some bad RNG, Xelf-16 super easy since Red laser deals a lot of damage and the upper bit allows you on 1st phase to stay near him when the Metallic Dawns spawn.

Stage 2.3 is another simple stage especially with Cross The Rubicon since it has a Wave Cannon that does area damage so you can always hit Negus 'O Shim's weak spot without detaching force.

Stage 3.0 aka lag city (I'm gonna use this little moment to say sorry for the lag during the entire run but my laptop can barely handle both game and stream. Love you laptop) once you know how to handle every enemy it becomes easier but always be ready for the worst, especially after the thruster and during Land Gains section. Core can be 2 phased thanks to red laser.

Stage 3.5, as I said during the run, becomes easier if you kill enemies as fast as possible or else you get in trouble as happened mid stage where I avoided all those bullets which, I remind you, they cannot be blocked with the force. Cerberus is an easy fight: just charge your wave cannon while holding the button for shooting (I used R1 in that case instead of Circle) then once Cerberus becomes hittable, basically when the force starts to go towards him, shoot wave cannon, wait for laser to hit and then detach. It is possible to kill Cerberus even before the Wights (the purple balls) spawn but I wasn't feeling confident so I decided for the safe spot on bottom right.

Stage 4.0...no I don't comment on this one. I killed Bellmite, that's all you need to know.

Stage 5.0 is always a stage where I forget some schemes, in fact at 3/4 of stage circa the surges that appear caught me off guard and did a stupid move which still resulted in me not dying but seriously, that was utterly dumb. Avoided gains cause I didn't wanna risk at this point of the run. Fine Motion just detach force, stay mid left and avoid lasers when necessary.

Stage 6.2 was a tricky one cause I used a new strategy, as said during the run, where instead of staying at a fixed height and going only left & right I went for spawn killing the enemies. Almost died at a certain but it worked.
During Gridlock fight I got the infamous Red Laser Glitch exclusive (for now) to Cross The Rubicon that can happen during Stage 3.5 and 6.2. I did a video about it which just shows it a little bit, here it is:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_KHebP0OgiE
Basically Red Laser gets stuck in the screen and because a new laser cannot be shot until already shot laser goes out of the screen you cannot shoot anymore with laser and rely solely to detached force. Hope I explained it correctly.

Stage F-C...well, I'm so used to this stage that I can do it flawlessly. Of course after a year where I haven't played the game I forgot some little details or ways to maximize efficiency but I remember the most important things to complete the stage without doing anything stupid and that what I needed for completing this run.
Other details about the run:
Missile used: Scatter Bomb
Bits Used: Shield Bits (for higher protection against bullets)
Final Score: 1.290.028
A good score for a ship like this one

I hope you enjoyed this run
