Two months of blood, sweat, and tears of joy afterwards for trying to do this has paid off. This is my 1st Shmup game no death run. The biggest challenge in this game is trying to beat it with Round Force since it has the weakest firepower of the other 2 forces. The biggest threats in this game is the Stage 2 Boss, Round 2 Stage 4, and Round 2 Stage 6. The Stage 2 Boss has an insane spike difficulty compared to the 1st for some BS reason. The eye pattern is always the same for both rounds so memorize where the eye is going to open next and you can take it out very quick. The mid-boss in stage 4 is a joke thanks to the safe spot I found on the 3rd phase but that backward section makes this the worst level in any R-Type game since it requires a lot of memorization. 4th boss is my least favorite thus why I left a comment in the outtakes. My strategy was to take it out very quickly before it goes very fast. Stage 6 requires some memorization. Remember where the bugs are going to be at and lure them to a wall. Don't try to fight all of them with the Round Force since its too weak. Use hyper when absolutely necessary in certain spots. For the final boss, destroy the head and get behind its arms. Charge your beam just in case one of the bugs gets near you. The bugs will die when you release the beam up close.

Sorry if the 1st stage is not entertaining. I was in all in focus mode after failing too many times afterwards.

This was done on Snes9xGX emulator on Wii Homebrew Channel. No tool-assist or cheats were use. I was too late to get it on virtual console back then.

R-Type is my favourite Shooter series even though Super Aleste is my favourite shooter of all time. Pretty weird ain't it? =P
