The PC-Engine version of R-type is split into 2 parts. Only the first 4 levels are on this game. Unbelievable that it can't hold 8 level. It's still very difficult but it doesn't take much practise to get through the game. If it was all levels then it would be very difficult. The weapons are good and it doesn't suffer from severe slow-down like the SNES version.

Picture split between CRT TV for my own viewing and OSCC scan converter with 2x line doubler, upscaled to HDMI for recording.
