Surprise! This is quite the intense first upload considering that this video is Rabi-Ribi's debut on the channel. And oh boy...what a game it absolutely is! I've been playing it nearly exclusively for the past month or so, and after four 200% All Easter Egg playthroughs on Normal/Hard/Hell/BEX, I think it's safe to say...that I quite like it. ^^

I was actually going to upload videos on this game far earlier to the channel, but I held back for a few reasons. The first is that I had some recording issues initially (which I've since then solved), and the second is that I often wasn't in the mood to record. I just wanted to, y'know...play with my friends and have fun! There was a few frame drops during this recording, but nothing overtly concerning, thankfully.

I can explain a lot about the game here, but I'll keep it to a minimum for everyone's sake. This is Rabi-Ribi; a non-linear bullet hell Metroidvania that is now one of my favorite games of all time. This video is a certain superboss you can fight once you've cleared all ten chapters of the game. And oh boy, she's uhh...quite the doozy, fellas! =w='

Miru SP is a fucking nightmare - and I mean that in the most literal way possible. This fight is a visual manifestation of an actual nightmare, and I absolutely love that. Featuring some of the fastest, densest, and certainly scariest patterns in the game - you're gonna need serious balls to tackle her on the highest difficulty setting. One of the thngs that makes this fight so difficult is that Ribbon is taken away from you, so you'll have to rely a ton on your hammer here for mileage.

Furthermore, there is a second hidden category for the four SP superbosses. Near the start of the fight, you'll see this strange UI tick down while a very long and dangerous attack pattern plays out. If you end this attack on the left path, you'll do the Left Side fight - a much easier version where the boss doesn't gain any levels. If you end this attack on the right path, you'll get the Right Side fight - where the boss gains a maddening amount of levels and just makes your life harder.

Boss Level only really affects two things - boss health, and their damage output. Pretty simple, right? There's also the secret Extreme and Extreme+ difficulties, where the bosses get a bunch of buffs and have their level increase even further.

You get Extreme by popping a Cocoa Bomb during the 'Left/Right Side UI', while for Extreme+, you must pop a Cocoa Bomb right as the game selects the Right Side path, but before the UI goes away completely. The timing is pretty tight, but thank fuck we're not doing that yet. :D
