A bit of footage of my local version of the game that I was not fully aware of until I saw VGE's recent video about fixing one of the NWK-TR boards he has and showed to us and saw he has the European versions of the games in his possession. That's when I found out that the European version he showed is emulatable via MAME.

Not that many differences between this and the "Mastercopy" USA release that I played previously, with the notable differences being that the version lacks the Parental Advisory and Outer Region use warnings, and that the Integra Type R and NSX are Honda-branded, not Acura-branded, as they also are in the original Japanese and Asian versions. Strangely, the in-game music is disabled by default unless you enable it in the Test menu, and that the speed readout is in kilometers (my local speed), not miles, but always adjustable in the Test menu.

This version however still lacks the handbrake functionality, but maybe there is a way to activate handbrake functionality in this version of the game. If you know about that, feel free to tell me how to enable it.

I'll be racing in Tommi Mäkinen's iconic 1998 WRC-winning Lancer, albeit stock, on the Beginner B course Circuit Night.

Oh, and Konami had just made an announcement on the remaster of MGS: Snake Eater called MGS Delta, and a collection consisting of the first three MGS titles, all coming to PS5 and Steam as of the posting of this video.
