0Blur (2010) was a unique racing game that married the adult love Mario Kart with optional vehicles with different sets of road specific presets. Marrying tension, drama, and required you to fully be in the moment. The multiplayer aspect meant you weren't a winner until you actually crossed the finish line as you will see a few times in this video. A great game by a now defunct studio. Enjoy.
