STORY
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is an action game developed by PlatinumGames and published by Konami. The game takes place in the year 2018, four years after the events of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, and follows the story of Raiden, a former child soldier who has become a cyborg ninja.

In the game, Raiden is working for a private military company that is hired to protect a VIP during a peace negotiation between two nations. However, the mission goes awry when a group of cyborgs led by a powerful and mysterious figure named "Sundowner" attacks the convoy. Raiden is forced to fight his way through a series of challenging enemies, uncovering a larger conspiracy along the way.

As the story progresses, Raiden is confronted with difficult moral choices and personal demons from his past as a child soldier. He must use his cyborg abilities, including his high-frequency blade and Blade Mode, to take on powerful bosses and enemies, and ultimately unravel the mystery behind the conflict he has been drawn into.

The game features fast-paced, high-octane action gameplay, with a focus on sword-fighting and hack-and-slash combat. The story is also heavily influenced by themes of transhumanism, politics, and the impact of war on individuals and society.
