Hello! I wanted to start this year by uploading a video about a game I hadn't played yet, and this time I played Rain World, a game I got on GOG. I recorded this gameplay with the Xbox Gaming Tool.

This game is a Platformer with Survival elements added to its core, where the playable character is a Slugcat that became stranded from its family. The main goal of the game is to reunite the Slugcat family, but it will need to eat and sleep in the meantime, while avoiding Predators and Hostile Weather, as the Rain causes a deluge that may kill the Slugcat and many other creatures if they stay in the open.

It took me some time to figure out the correct way to play the game, as the movement was sort of limited, and I needed a suitable keybinding to play this game properly. I think I was doing well during the first cycles until I got the clues about the Family location. Then I lost many lives in very stupid ways. I also had some hard time when trying to access the next area, but I managed figure out the trick by opening the Map in front of the Area Gate when I got the correct Cycle Symbol, and managed to move from the Outskirts (the first area) to the Industrial Complex.

Where will the Slugcat reunite with its Family? Will it endure this hostile environment before becoming another creature's next meal? Stick around to find out.
