I played one of the "Super Arcade Modes" available in Tyrian 2000. The first one is called "The Experimental PQZ", which is accessed through typing "techno" in the main menu of the game (that information is revealed after beating the Full Game Mode). This mode has a limited set of available weapons that are obtainable by collecting the Colored Weapon Pickups, where each color provides a different weapons, as mentioned next:

-Blue: Zica Laser.
-Black: Heavy Missile Launcher.
-Green: Retroball.
-Brown: Heavy Guided Bombs.
-Red: Hyper Pulse.

If you collect the pickup corresponding to the same weapon you currently have equipped, you'll gain an Extra Life, and the weapon will be upgraded to the next power level. Concerning those weapons, the Zica Laser is the most powerful by far, so try to stick to it and grab only the Blue Collectables. The other weapons are much weaker, and only the Heavy Missile Launcher at its maximum power can be mildly effective, but try to avoid collecting anything that isn't the Zica Laser.

I couldn't end the video in less than two hours, so I had to record until Episode 4. The rest will come in the next video, which I had to record during the same run. Since this one is an Arcade Mode, saving the game is not possible.
