41the monk playthrough was always a bit of a strange obstacle in my desire to play as all the rain world critter. Playing 'easy mode' after having played normal mode is always kind of a weird ask. This is why in the past I pondered about using it as an opportunity to get some other things, like see all the gods or get all the unlocks, but the reality is I think, deep down, that it would make kind of bad video ? It'd be mostly re-exploring areas I've been to before, but less dangerous. Doing pearl runes would be even worse for video since that's a whole lot of back and forth, I'd be recording for an hour to get fifteen minutes of footage.
so I think this is strictly why I want to move immediately to wet cat. In my brain the Monk was never a 'real' run but rather a quirky little diversion. He is cute, he is extremely adorable, and in terms of game design he absolutely has his place in the game, it just doesn't quite align with my needs at this space and time, you know?
