Rainbow Six: Raven Shield is easily one of my favourite games of all time, having spent thousands of hours playing online, competing in and even organising online competitions in the Australian community. It is also one of my main inspirations for starting this channel.
This is the second time playing through the Athena Sword campaign and I really appreciated some of the maps this time around, particularly the Italy based maps. Again there is a range of tactics used, including gas and smoke grenades, flashbangs and breaching charges, thermal scopes and no reliance on heart beat sensors. Once again, I have tried to emphasise go-codes and multi-team breaches for the key set pieces in each mission.
From a technical point of view, I managed to enable EAX sound for the first time using DSOAL (https://github.com/ThreeDeeJay/dsoal/releases/tag/0.9.3) and some registry editing. Also, I included the 'missing sounds' fix found here (https://www.moddb.com/addons/rainbow-six-3-2018-sound-fix-update) which mostly affects the two expansions.
