Rainbow Six: Raven Shield is easily one of my favourite games of all time, having spent thousands of hours playing online, competing in and even organising online competitions in the Australian community. It is also one of my main inspirations for starting this channel.
This is the first time I've played through the Iron Wrath campaign however. Some of the maps here are really good, especially Nuclear Reactor and Training Camp. I also appreciate the smaller enemy counts compared to some of the original campaigns army-like numbers. Again there is a range of tactics used, including gas and smoke grenades, flashbangs and breaching charges, thermal scopes and no reliance on heart beat sensors. Once again, I have tried to emphasise go-codes and multi-team breaches for the key set pieces in each mission.
From a technical point of view, I managed to enable EAX sound for the first time using DSOAL (https://github.com/ThreeDeeJay/dsoal/releases/tag/0.9.3) and some registry editing. Also, I included the 'missing sounds' fix found here (https://www.moddb.com/addons/rainbow-six-3-2018-sound-fix-update) which mostly affects the two expansions.
