Rakano's Weapons Are Unmatched pt 2 | Event Mode Run #17 (There Can Be Only One) | Eternal Card Game
4The latest Event mode concluded this weekend in Eternal Card Game. This time around the rules were that you could only have one copy of each non-power card in your deck. Those familiar enough with Magic: the Gathering know what this type of format is called: Highlander. And the name of the event was appropriate: There Can Be Only One. This was a fun format that was surprisingly somewhat friendly to newer players.
I didn't really have time to brew something knew, so I borrowed from the hivemind known as the Eternal community on this one. Someone hit rank 1 in the event pretty early using an aggressive Rakano "voltron-style/pants" deck. You play early game units, give them equipment and go to town. This was built on the premise that everyone would think aggressive decks wouldn't be good and, thus, wouldn't be prepared for it. I jammed this deck for most of my runs. All of my runs were the exact same record. So I just decided to put up the first run I did. This is part 2. Don't forget to check out part 1 if you missed it. Hope you enjoy!
