Rusty plus awkward seed = bleh.
Had a terrible early game failing to get mini-moldorm cave done (they weren't cooperating toda). Had some amount of decision paralysis once I got the boots and mitts and DW opened up way earlier than expected.
Thought I was finally on the right track when I found the hookshot in PoD (I guessed that's what the flippers were for), but nothing much was up on the mountain besides the flute. Then I was convinced this was a hammer-on-pyramid-fairy seed, proceeded to completely botch my first bomb dupe attempt, then did it again only to be rewarded by two heart pieces...
Checked everything else except for hammerless pendant IP and SP, then went into ice, and after finding the hammer at ice T....wasn't sure what I was supposed to do. In hindsight, the answer is obvious -- walk back to the two hammer-locked chests and get everything else in the dungeon, but my mind couldn't process that since I had never been in this situation before. I defeated kholdstare and then wasted a ton of time full-clearing SP and getting the two items out of MM before coming back to IP, I could probably have been sub-2 if not for that silly oversight.
Eh, let's do better next time.
