I think deciding whether or not to go to SW early (gets you your hookshot) is probably a big difference maker in this seed. I tend to avoid front of SW without frod when it's a crystal, so I instead did VoO and actually decided to full clear pendant TT. That was a bit of a toss-up but I feel like at the time with no hookshot you're most likely going to have to commit to at least one of pendant TT or pendant PoD or both, so it felt reasonable to get the other two items. I think taking down Blind here like I did is also defensible as PoD was already clearable and the third pendant at ToH was a hookshot or mirror away from being in logic.
Pendant TT had nothing (besides sending you on a wild goose chase of mushroom - shovel - trash) so I continued along the DW loop and full-cleared pendant PoD as well, which made the most sense at the time. I could have skipped out on the last item at helmasaur, but again, I think it was reasonable and pedestal was a real possibility in my mind.
If you had picked up the hookshot early on in DW, that might have steered you clear from PoD and sent you up the mountain instead, which could have saved you a ton of time IF you decide to get mitts out of the basement. As is that was an easy choice for me having already cleared out PoD, but if I hadn't done PoD yet I would have been more tempted to skip it maybe...
I probably should have fluted to desert before doing mirrorless smith chain, but I lucked out and boots was required and on purple chest so it ended up working out for me.
Checking Cave 45 before SP for go-mode somaria was a no-brainer. I actually checked checkerboard cave and was going to check bombos tablet as well but those I was a little less sure about.
I think the moral of the story here is that I should consider doing front of crystal SW early if the other choices (pendant TT and pendant PoD) aren't looking great. Not a hard and fast rule, but something for me to take into account for future seeds.
