When it was first revealed that the Rampage video game was going to be adapted into a live-action movie starring the Rock, I'm pretty sure most everyone in the world rolled their eyes. We all probably asked ourselves, "How could a movie based on a game about three monsters punching skyscrapers actually be turned into some sort of entertaining story?". That's a fair question to ask, especially when you consider the pretty awful track record of video game movies in general.
