22🎬 Special Edition of Ran (1985) – Is it worth buying?
In this video, I introduce you to the brand-new Special Edition of Akira Kurosawa's epic masterpiece Ran, which will be released on August 14th. The film was first released in 4K in 2021 – and this restored 4K version is included here again, including an additional bonus disc and the Blu-ray version of the film.
But this edition goes one step further:

I'll show you in detail what's in the box and compare it to the 2021 edition. Spoiler alert: The artwork in the box isn't quite my cup of tea this time – but the overall package definitely has its strengths.
