Random Crazy Taxi Playthrough TEST Captured on a Hauppauge PVR
1The Hauppauge HD PVR has a difficult time capturing any game consoles, pre the PS2 era of consoles, because the console's default resolution is usually at low 240 lines of resolution, which the HD PVR is unable to detect consistently. I have my Dreamcast hooked up through a Scart to Component converter then connected it to a Hauppauge HD PVR which makes the Dreamcast stay at a solid 480 video signal which satisfies the Hauppauge minimum resolution requirement.
I also want to note that note all Dreamcast game will work in this method. I tested Crazy Taxi and Project Justice which works solid but Bangai-O and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure just wouldn't register with the Hauppauge HDPVR. I need to figure out a way to make those games play at a constant 480 lines of resolution.
