One of the greatest games ever made. The first X-COM title, UFO: Enemy Unknown, has you taking charge of operations and building your base in real time, before intercepting UFOs and investigating the subsequent crash sites. You do this in a grid-based squad-based turn-based isometric strategy section that oozes atmosphere and menace. A wonderful amalgamation of gameplay elements that stands the test of time. Lawnie effortlessly puts twenty minutes into this one and is enraptured throughout. A wonderful experience, long overdue.
