This is a video for my series called "Random Indie Game" where I show off random cheap/free indie games.

The game Beacon is a small free 2D platformer where you play as a spaceman who has crash landed his ship on an uncharted alien planet. You don't have any weapons, but you have a small jetpack which is useful for softening landings or extending jumps. You win by completing the story, and you die if you touch lava, get shot, or fall too far. The game itself revolves around the mystery of the planet, and the actual gameplay is you going around the crash site, to discover more about the planet.
