You play as Kardoz Speakerson, member of the wealthy family and company owner who have just been found guilty on court and lost hes fortune.
Do to him being unable to make a new company on planet and unwilling to start new on different system, he picks up a new job as starchaser.

Soon weird things start to happen and he find himself working for government himself to fight against enemies unknown
